One that makes me wonder and is a fun riddle to solve, requires me to look up and find answers to questions that I still do not understand.
Also, like things that we can use for improving lives of many while keeping the environment and this earth clean and suitable for the future.
I am doing a chemistry PhD so definitely chemistry is my favourite science.
The specific things I like doing are environmental chemistry and using chemistry to help people and improve things in the real world.
My favourite science experiment I do is when I analyse my samples using X-ray diffraction. Thats using a machine that fires x-rays at the sample and by collecting what reflects back from the sample we can find out how all the atoms and elements in the sample are joined together and find its structure. So I can see exactly what Ive made!
I like anything to do with the human body and how it works, but what I love is how we can use maths and computers to help us understand the human body more. So this can be so many different things, biology, bioinformatics, computer science, maths
That’s a really tough question! I like anything that we can use to improve how the world works. We use lots of different sciences every day. For example, the food I had for breakfast has chemistry involved! Everything is made up of chemicals! And the computer that I am using has materials science – someone had to decide what to build it out of to make it work and not overheat or break.
