• Question: What would be your favourite volcano in the world?

      They are all so different – so it’s very hard to choose. I would like to visit some of the South American (Ecuador, Chile, Peru) and Indonesian volcanoes (Tambora, Toba, Krakatoa) – I’ve worked on samples from many of these but haven’t been able to visit myself. I would also love to go to the Galapagos Islands for both the volcanos and the wildlife. I would also like to spend more time in Iceland….. but then…..

      I have always been interested in Pompeii and would love to study the skeletons of the people who died there
