There were several things which made me want to work on solar panels:
      – I’ve always been worried about climate change and working on solar panels is one way I can hopefully contribute to the fight against climate change
      – I think science is a brilliant force for improving people’s lives and cheap electricity would really improve people’s lives. I don’t think people should only have access to electricity if they have money.
      – I find the science behind how solar panels work really really interesting. There is a lot of new physics and chemistry for us to learn about in these materials/panels and I really enjoy doing the work of trying to understand this.
