Question: What have you found out so far about removing dangerous waste from the water?

I’ve found that its more complicated than I thought when I started. I have been testing a new way to remove waste ions and elements by adding a material into water which can bind (or stick) to them and then all the waste can be filtered out at a solid and leave clean water behind. My tests have been working when I try them in the lab, but in a real life river there might be other things in the water that could interfere, so in the future I will need to test out my methods on real water to check that it will still work.
