• Question: How many experiments have you done while being a scientist ?

      Lots and lots! Often in science you will plan and conduct an experiment to try and answer a question you have, only for the results of that experiment to raise even more questions that need answering! There are always more experiments to be done and more things to be learnt.

      This is such a difficult question to answer! When i take my mini volcanoes to the big laboratories to do the most complicated experiments we probably run over 100 experiments in a 5 day period, and I have probably completed 1000’s over the last few years. However normally we need data from lots of little experiments to work out how or why something is hapening.
