Making some which work aren’t too hard anymore – the work done by other scientists in my field has meant that I can quite easily make working small solar panels (as long as I’m in the lab and have everything I need).

The problem is when we try to make them work really well or work for a long period of time. One of the issues we work on in my research group is how to make the solar panels we make work for a long time – at the moment we can make them work for a few weeks/months but that’s not really good enough if we want people to put these ones on buildings.
