• Question: have you had any development in your goal to make new types of solar panels

      Well I can make them in the lab and they work well but I wouldn’t say that’s because of my just my work. There are hundreds/thousands of scientists around the world working on the same type of solar panels as me and we all share our results through publishing them in scientific journals so I can use other people’s developments in my own work.

      In my research I set my own personal small goals and I would say that over time I’m getting closer but the problem is I want to understand everything about how these systems work and how we can make them better and that’s such a huge problem. I think before I feel comfortable saying I’ve had developments I would need to do a few more years of work, whenever I do find things out it always opens up more questions so it never feels like you can sit back and look at what you’ve acheived.
